Fellowes Desktop Surge Protectors come equipped with 6 outlets, 7 outlets or 12 outlets.
Six Outlet Surge Protector
The 6 outlet surge protectors provide protection for desktop computers, small office machines, and electronics. These surge protectors output 450 joules, perform EMI/RFI noise filtering, and a 15 ampere circuit breaker. An LED light is provided as a surge protector indicator. These surge protectors protect up to $10,000 worth of electronic equipment in the event the electronic equipment is damaged while using the surge protector. The device is both UL and cUL approved. This particular model is equipped with a 6 foot power cord.
Seven Outlet Surge Protector
The 7 outlet surge protector comes equipped with a 12 foot cord, a 6 foot phone cord to protect the phone line and DSL surge protection. This device will output 1,600 joules, perform EMI/RFI noise filtering, a catastrophic fuse and a 15 ampere circuit breaker. The device is both UL and cUL approved. In the event of electronic damage while using the device, Fellowes will cover up to $75,000 in equipment damages.
Ten Outlet Surge Protector
The 10 outlet surge protector protects electronics from surge from the outlet, but also protects DSL, Ethernet, coaxial cable and phone line. This device possesses a 10 foot cord with a right angle plug. This allows users to manage the cord better. The surge protector outputs 3,300 Joules, performs EMI/RFI noise filtering, LED indicator lights, and a catastrophic fuse. The device is UL and cUL approved.
Fellowes Surge Protector: Flat Plug
Fellowes offers the Mighty 8-Outlet surge protector to customers who possess furniture that needs to remain flush against the wall. Other types of plugs will not fit well in small spaces. The Mighty 8-Outlet provides a solution to this problem. The device outputs 1300 joules with EMI/RFI noise filtering. The design also accommodates up to 5 AC adapters, possesses a 15 ampere circuit breaker, and a LED indicator light. Fellowes will protect all equipment attached up to $50,000 in the event of electronic damage resulting from a power surge.
How Do I Get It Out of the Wall?
The Fellowes surge protector plugs into the wall like a normal plug. When you are ready to remove the device simply grip the plug, apply a small amount of pressure, and gently pull the plug towards you. The plug will remove from the wall like any other plug.
Recalls for Fellowes Wiring Surge
Currently, there are no known recalls for Fellowes wiring surges. There are Fellowes wiring indicator lights that exist on each Fellowes surge protector. However, no known recalls for this component of the device at this time.
