The company formerly known as Surge-TEK Industries has announced that it will now refer to itself as LEA Networks. Surge-TEK was a leader on a global level in surge protector devices and surge protection technology and connectivity protection systems. The reason for the new name leans on the companies reputation of brand recognition and a corporate division of protection products that engulf the broadband environment and home computer networks. This ties the companies products together making them a stronger and larger force in the surge protector market.
Surge-TEK was bought by LEA in 2007 and made several improvements to their line of surge protectors. This has given the consumer a wider selection of surge protection devices to choose from with the quality that Surge-TEK products are known for, only under the LEA Networks name. The company plans to add new products to enlarge their presence in the market and offer their customers even more choices in quality surge protectors.
The company has launched a new website to bolster their re-branding efforts, including offering more product information with the expanded line of products. Their manufacturing practices are ISO9001 certified and they fall under the TL9000 compliance for surge protection devices. LEA is also a member of IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers as well as part of the ETSI TM6, or the European Telecommunications Standard Institute, the Broadband Forum and the Homeplug Powerline Alliance.
Along with manufacturing quality surge protectors, LEA is a leader in worldwide production of splitter systems and Power Line Communication (PLC) in the industry of telecommunications. Their business end of production includes researching market trends, design versatility and functionality, market techniques and worldwide distribution of custom and standard products with over one hundred fifty carriers. The company’s parent, HF Company, is located in France and trades on the French Euronext Market under PARIS:HFCO.
